Vaness Adams, of Lithonia, GA, died Wednesday, March 13, 2013. She was born on October 26, 1931 in Oglethorpe County, GA to James Power and Coreen Maddox-Power. Mrs. Adams was married on July 17, 1972 to Oscar Adams, Jr., who died in 1999. Surviving her are one daughter and two sons: Betty Pittman, Randall "Randy" Power, and Terry Adams; A daughter-in-law: LeKisha Adams; Three grandchildren: Candace Pittman, Keith Pittman, Jr., and Nahla Adams; One sister: Hattie Gresham; A host of nieces and nephews.
