October 30, 1943 — August 18, 2014
Vernell "Nell" Holmes, 70 of Atlanta, passed away on Monday August 18, 2014. She is survived by two sisters; and a host of loving and caring friends. Funeral services will be held on Thursday August 21st at 2:00 PM in the chapel of A.S. Turner and Sons. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to The American Cancer Society or to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Foundation, Attention: Cindy Wesley, 1577 Northeast Expressway, Atlanta, GA 30329. The family will receive friends on Wednesday August 20th from 7:30 until 9:30 PM at A.S. Turner and Sons Funeral Home and Crematory.
