Vester Eugene Amerson

Mr. Vester E. (Amie) Amerson, age 77, of Atlanta died Sunday, December 12, 2004. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict serving in the U. S. Air Force. Mr. Amerson was preceded in death by his wife, Pauline Hallman Amerson; parents, Roy Amerson and Iva Johnson Amerson; sister, Louise Key; and brother, Roy Amerson, Jr.  He is survived by two sisters, Betty Jo Kirk of Ashtabulla, OH, Beverly Holley of Mableton; brother, Charles F. Baskette of Stockbridge; nieces, Regina McConnell, Renee Minor, Deborah Forester, Sandra Jo Denson, Teresa Smith, Lisa Holley; and nephews, John Kirk, Eddie Kirk, Mike Baskette, David Baskette, and Jimmy Holley. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Rev. Rex Kaney and Pastor Terry Little officiating. Burial will follow at Floral Hills Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at A. S. Turner & Sons.
