Announcing the passing of Jamaica's past Honorary Consul to Atlanta, Vin Newton Martin, Esq. Vin departed this life on July 23rd 2014l. A viewing will be held at Turner & Sons Funeral Home, 2773 North Decatur Road, Decatur GA 30033 on Thursday July 31, 2014 from 5:00PM - 9:00PM with Funeral services at Springfield Baptist Church, 1877 Iris Drive, Conyers GA, 30013 on Friday August 1st at 11:00am. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to The Atlanta - Montego Bay Sister Cities Foundation, 1823 Chedworth Lane, Stone Mountain, GA 30087. To reflect Vin's personality the family requests that guests wear vibrant colors at the Homecoming service.
