Vaia Romanides
September 5, 1931 — February 11, 2025
Presvytera Vaia Andris Romanides, 93, passed peacefully in her little cottage in the forest of Maxeys GA. With her daughter Anastasia by her side, she was surrounded by her memories and love. Vaia was born in New Haven Connecticut on September 5th 1931. She grew up in Savannah GA and studied music and voice at Yale, New England Conservatory and Germany. She married Father John S Romanides in 1954 and they had two daughters, Evlambia and Anastasia. Vaia is survived by her daughter Anastasia, her sister Audrey, nephews Dean and John and niece Stacia
