Viriginia Holley Bridges

Mrs. Virginia Holley Bridges, 84 of Atlanta, died Sunday, July 24, 2011. She graduated from the University of Alabama in 1951 as a Senior Soloist with a Bachelor's degree in music. She was a prominent classical singer in the Atlanta area. Surviving are her husband, Dr. Francis J. Bridges; daughter, Ms. Cheryl Bridges; and son, Dr. Stephen Bridges. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, July 28th in the chapel of A.S. Turner & Sons, with Rev. Debbie Britt officiating. Interment will follow at Westview Cemetery. The family will receive friends the hour prior to the service at A.S. Turner & Sons.
