William Allen Muckenfuss, Sr.
April 5, 1919 — January 22, 2021
William Allen Muckenfuss, Sr; 101, of Union City, GA passed away on Friday January 22, 2021. Mr. Muckenfuss was a mason, a member of The Greatest Generation, having proudly served his country in the U S Army during World War II.
He was preceded in death by the mother of his children, Sallie Ann Jones Muckenfuss and his second wife, Jewell Pitts Muckenfuss. He is survived by his daughters, Tullie Warren and Sallie Muckenfuss and his son, William A. Muckenfuss, Jr. Also surviving are six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
He attended Lester Road Christian Church near his home at Christian City. He was a lab technician at the V A Hospital and enjoyed playing the slots at various casinos.
His funeral services will be held on Friday January 29th at 1:00 pm in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Tony Sullivan officiating. Private interment will be at Rose Hill Cemetery, Austell, GA. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at A. S. Turner & Sons, Decatur, GA.
