William Allen Pate, Sr.

Mr. William Allen Pate, Sr. of Lawrenceville, died Sunday, January 22, 2006.  He was a veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Navy and retired from Kraft Foods in 1987.  Mr. Pate is survived by his wife, Frances Pate; son, William Allen Pate, Jr., both of Lawrenceville; brother, Tom Pate of Douglasville; two granddaughters; one great granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 24th at Floral Hills Memory Gardens.  Rev. Paul Ard will officiate.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Greater Georgia Chapter, 1925 Century Blvd., NE, Suite 10, Atlanta, GA  30345-3315.  The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday at A. S. Turner & Sons.
