William B. (Nick) Spivey

Mr. William B. "Nick" Spivey, 88, of Clarkston died Monday, May 9, 2011. He retired from Southern Bell after 42 years of service and was a member of Clarkston Baptist Church. Mr. Spivey was preceded in death by his first wife, Doris Spivey and second wife, Annette Jordan Spivey; granddaughter, Rebecca Lynn Spivey; two brothers and a sister. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Jackie and Vickey Spivey; daughters, Nancy Gray, Kathy Smith; sister, Rachel Spivey; five grandchildren, Chris Gray, Steve Gray , Shane Spivey, Amie Smith, Matthew Smith; seven great grandchildren, Allie, Ashlyn, Addison, Avrie, and Noah Spivey, Aiden and Luke Gray; and three step-sons; several nieces, nephews, and caring friends. Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 12, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons with Pastor Tim Kinnersley officiating. Interment, Melwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6pm – 8pm at A. S. Turner & Sons.
