William (Bill) Edmonson

Mr. William "Bill" Edmondson, 86 of Lilburn, passed away on Monday, May 7, 2012. He was a graduate of Boys' High and UGA, and was a brother in the ATO fraternity. He proudly served his country in the US Navy during WWII. Bill was a longtime active member and the treasurer at Memorial Drive Presbyterian Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara and is survived by daughter, Dyanne Wallace of Lawrenceville; son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Julie Edmondson of Cumming; seven grandchildren and four and a half great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons on Wednesday, May 9th at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Arlington Memorial Park with military honors. Those desiring may send contributions to the Alzheimer's Association. The family will friends this evening (Tuesday) from 5 to 8 PM at A. S. Turner & Sons Funeral Home & Crematory.
