William C. (Bill) Walters

William C. (Bill) Walters passed away December 26, 2004. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Catherine; sons, John and James; and daughters, Anne Marie Lallerstedt and Catherine Leverett. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and sisters, Dorothy Smith and Virginia Eberhart. Bill served in Europe in the Army Air Corps during WWII in communications, launching a thirty year career in broadcasting. During this time, Bill earned his Masters of Educational Psychology degree from Georgia State University. He was a devout member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Decatur. Visitation will be held at A. S. Turner & Sons funeral Home in Decatur, Wed., Dec. 29th at 6:30 p.m. followed by a Rosary at 8 p.m.. A funeral Mass will be held Thursday, Dec. 30th at 2 p.m. at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 636 W. Ponce de Leon Ave., Decatur, GA. Interment to be at Floral Hills Memory Gardens. A. S.
