Whitehead, William C. age 68 of Sun City Center, FL, passed away on Wednesday November 12, 2014, with his family by his side. Born in Niskayuna, NY on Aug. 2, 1946. A retired petroleum salesman, avid golfer, one of the founding members of the FROGS in Sun City Center, a U.S. Army Veteran serving in Vietnam. Survivors include his wife of 22 years, Janice Whitehead; daughters Laura Brown, Amy (Conway) Samples and Colleen Whitehead; sons, Marc (Amanda) Brown, Christopher Whitehead; brother Wendell (Debbie) Whitehead; sisters, Catherine (late Gray) DeFrino and Donna (Dave) English; and 6 grandchildren. A gathering of friends and family will be held on Tuesday, November 18, 6-8pm, at the A.S. Turner Funeral Home, 2773 N. Decatur Road, Decatur, GA 30033. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation.
