William E. Hood, Sr.

Mr. Willard E. Hood, Sr. died Saturday, October 27, 2007.  Mr. Hood was with the DeKalb County School System for 25 years. He was a campus supervisor for Sequoia Middle School and loved all of his school kids. Mr. Hood is survived by his wife, Marie Hood; sons, Donald Pratko, Gene Hood and wife Jennifer; daughter, Rebecca Hood and Arthur Rodriquez; five grandchildren; mother, Tula Hood; brother, Wayne Hood; and good friend, Robert Brown.  Memorial services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday October 30th in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons with Rev. Kenneth Sweat officiating.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.  The family will receive friends from 12:00 Noon to 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at A. S. Turner & Sons.
