William Esco Edwards

Mr. William E. Edwards of Avondale Estates died Friday, February 25, 2005.  He was born and raised in the Atlanta area, where he lived his entire life.  Mr. Edwards was a member of Avondale First Baptist Church.  He was a graduate of Georgia Tech and a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers.  He is survived by his son, William Ladson Edwards of Alpharetta; daughter, Laurie L. McCoy of Columbia, SC; three grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 28th at Westview Cemetery.  Dr. J. Truett Gannon and Rev. Clay Bowden will officiate.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday at A. S. Turner & Sons.
