William Harvey Armistead
December 14, 1934 — March 13, 2014
William H. (Billy) Armistead, Jr. , 79, of Lilburn, passed away March 13, 2014. He was a deacon of Rehoboth Baptist Church all of his adult life. He retired after 35 years with the DeKalb County School System as Assistant Superintendent of Athletics and Personnel. He was a graduate of Clarkston High School and the University of Georgia, where he played football and baseball. He remained a devoted Bulldog fan and supporter throughout his life. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, June; daughter and son-in-law Ginger and Brian Graf; his grandchildren Simon (13) and Isabelle (11); brother and sister-in-law Roger and Susan; and a host of nieces and nephews.
