William Pryor Stephenson

Mr. William Pryor ?Bill? Stephenson, 75, of Decatur, GA, passed away on Thursday, January, 31, 2008 after a prolonged illness. He is a Korean War Veteran who earned several military medals for his courage and bravery.  He retired as Chief Building Inspector of DeKalb County, and was a member of The Harold Byrd American Legion Post #66 in Avondale Estates.   He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Miriam Dickerson Stephenson; children, Cheryl, Terry, Tina and Gina; seven grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.  Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Sunday, February 3rd in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons with Rev. Clay Bowden officiating.   Interment will be at Midway Presbyterian Churchyard. The family will receive friends from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. Saturday at A. S. Turner & Sons.
