Willis Melvin Sheppard

Mr. Willis Melvin Sheppard, age 71, of Avondale Estates, GA died Monday, Jan. 21, 2008.  He was a graduate of Truett-McConnell College in Cleveland, GA. He worked with Pan-American Testament League in the Bible Distribution Ministry for over 46 years.  Son of the late Steve M. and Margie G. Sheppard, he is survived by his brother, Joe S. Sheppard of Fernandina Beach, FL; sisters, Elizabeth S. Cross of Anderson, SC, and Elaine S. Hilliard of Tucker, GA.  He leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thurs. 1/24/08 at A.S. Turner & Sons.  Reverends Talmage Walker and Walter Sandell will officiate.  Interment at Melwood Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to the Source of Light Ministries Intl., Inc., 1011 Mission Rd., Madison, GA 30650.
